The speed from Client to Provider is very slow. ADSL - is less 0.2 Mb/s. Speed from Provider to client -s 8 Mb/s. It is impossible to watch anything. Useless support

I signed up for VDSL connection. The speeds are terrible, slower than normal ADSL. Also when you go to use the Internet for the first time on any given day, it takes about 1-2minutes for the internet to come up.. after that it is okay, but its annoying waiting for what should be an instant always-on service. worst customer experience of my life.
the price, and the customer service agents were really good - but considering how the facebook comments page has been disabled i imagine they are very practiced in "damage control"

Been with Unlimited internet twice. Both times have been a great experience. Jumped ship to Bigpipe to make use of a massive special and because 100/20 fibre was not offered at the time, only 100/100. Now 100/20 is offered for $70 flat, no contract making this THE BEST option out there for fibre users.
Only switched to Orcon as flat mate works there and gets account credit. The bottom dollar drives our flat account.
Best value for $$
Slightly above full speed (105mbps speedtest.net however I live very close to an exchange)
Great support (gave a 9 instead of 10 as I never had issues to properly test the level support)
Gave 7 for features as no direct debit option, had to use credit card or bank deposit. Direct debit preferred as no admin involved

Good service, lovely team, affordable price
the $150 connection fee is a pain, but since it's no contract it makes sense why big companies locks customers on a contract so they can recover the connection fee.

My advise, stay away! I had a connection with them which was dropping all the time. So I decided to switch to another ISP. I gave them one month prior notice, to cancel my account which is as per their policy. So I paid for the next month and asked them to end the service after that period. They confirmed that's ok, but actually terminated my account 20 days before the end of the paid period without any notice.

I signed up with them a month ago and we're still no closer to a usable service. The first modem they sent was faulty and we've waited over a week for a new one. Appalling customer service when you can get them on the phone. I'll be seeking a full refund
